Success leaves clues.

You just have to be aware enough and focused to see them.

There’s no better way than to inquire and learn from people that have been there and done that and achieved what you want to achieve. Especially when you know they have gone through the struggles, the stress, the lows and doubt just like you.

I’ve been there at every level of my business, and am going through resistance again as I’m buying commercial buildings for Vigor Ground and building an industry affecting online coaching program.

New levels new devils.

That’s why it’s crucial to connect and learn from mentors, experts and authorities that have created success for them-selves as well as others in the areas you want, whether it’s from books, courses and most effectively coaching/masterminds/mentoring.

Weeks ago I drove out to Richmond, BC just north of the border in Canada to visit my friend and someone’s whose story needed to be shared to show what is possible with commitment, effort, the right support and implementation of mindsets and skill-sets combining personal development and break-through with focused marketing, sales, automation and fulfillment strategies.

That sounded like a mouth full.

Imagine it being read by Morgan Freeman – exactly, even better.

Andrea Lawson own Balance In Motion and is part of our Pack Fitness Business Mentorship Coaching. She’s taken BIM from a $130k a year company with losses while working all day and having very little time for herself to 12 months later coming in at close to $350k while doubling her salary, making a big profit in the company and working less to really improve her quality of life (while building up her awesome team).

Her facility is less than 2,500 square feet and you can pretty much see the whole gym without the offices and bathrooms in the above picture. It’s important to realize that with the right positioning, expert status, results, referrals and ascension in the business you can create huge growth even with a smaller space (since one of the objections is “my space is only _______”).

It’s not just and ad or lead generation campaign that does it or a new website or the “secret sauce”, it’s a number of puzzle pieces put together.

Here are her 3 biggest lessons that were crucial in her own and Balance In Motion’s transformation in 2015 (listen in as success leaves clues – you’ll be surprised what they are, it’s not what most people think):

Think of your fitness business just like you would look at a client who came in to see you to help them transform their body.

If you just address training and nutrition from the X’s and O’s standpoint, you’ll have success with very few people.

Because there are multiple factors such as training, nutrition, mindset, accountability, movement, cognitive behavior change, environment (people, places, etc.), sleep/stress, emotional eating, lifestyle, etc. that will matter in a successful long term transformation.

As a coach you it’s helping the client put the right piece of the puzzle together at the right time.

Telling someone to eat “xyz” without finding why they eat it, when, how, and based on that information creating a strategy to move on step closer to the goal – is putting a band aid on a shotgun wound that will end up bleeding out sooner or later.

Your fitness business is the same from a standpoint of piecing the right pieces of the puzzle together; mindset, positioning, content, marketing, sales, team building, systems, on-boarding, scaling, bottle-necks, results training, etc.

Honestly assess where you need help and improve skill-sets or mindsets then attack it and keep moving forward.
